The Wick Society`s Johnston Section is staging a series of exhibitions of Johnston photographs in large A1 format(594mm x 841mm).  The scale of the pictures reveals much of the amazing detail captured on the large glass plate negatives by the Johnstons.

Pulteneytown Parish Church Foyer, Argyle Square, Wick.   Wednesday - Friday 24-26 June 2009 from 10.00am to 1.pm.

A series of prints showing Argyle Square and the surrounding streets in former times .  The event is held with the cooperation of the Argyle Square Area Association and Pulteneytown Parish church.

Harbourfest - Saturday 27 June, 2009  at Wick Harbour.

Classic images of Wick Harbour and the herring fishing from the age of sail.

St Fergus Gallery, Wick Library - Saturday 4 July - Saturday 25 July, 2009 -  `Johnston Revisited`.

A wide look across the Johnstons` work in Wick and further afield in the County.
